    In the late winter of 2017 we had one heck of a wind storm that took away most of our roof. The entire region suffered severe wind damage. The roofing business was a booming. Because of this roofing companies weren't doing repairs. At least none of the ones that came out to look at my crazy roof. (6 companies) They had the luxury of mass business. Every roofing contractor argued with my allstate rep that the entire roof needed to be replaced. Allstate kept coming up with analogies. "If the hood of your car was damaged we wouldn't replaced your whole car would we? " No, but you would replaced the hood! I wasn't asking for a whole new house Allstate. I was asking for a new roof. Allstate held their ground and eventually beat me. Well done Allstate. Because nobody was repairing roofs I ended up eating about $4000 to get my roof replaced by the lowest bidder. Allstate even sent out a preferred contractor that wouldn't give me a quote because he didn't want to disagree with Allstate. Thus losing his "preferred" status. Ahhhh the wonderful world of insurance claim. I watched my neighborhood get new roof after new roof with half the damage we suffered. Bragging to me who their insurance company was (not Allstate). BTW, the process took about 4 months. Meanwhile we suffered water damage inside the house. Allstate had to pay for that. It was about $4000. If they originally gave me that $4000 towards my roof we wouldn't have had any damage inside and everyone would be happy. I wonder how you make a company learn... Or are they always right? And we are always wrong.

    I was arrested for trespassing, I felt I did nothing wrong and needed to stand up for myself, I hired Emanuel Mouganis to represent me, he advised me that this would be a very difficult case because we were up against some very big names in the community.
